How it works

The diploma is delivered as short, repeatable sessions rather than long lectures. Each lesson serves up to ten cards, ordered overdue first, then unseen, then scheduled. You grade your own recall, or answer multiple choice, and the algorithm decides when to show the card again.

Spaced repetition (SM-2). A card you fail resets its interval and lowers its ease. A card you find easy moves out to a longer interval. Over weeks this concentrates your time on the material you have not yet learned, which is the whole point — reviewing what you already know is the most common way to waste study time.

Progress and streaks. Ten XP per correct card, three for a lapse, multiplied at seven- and thirty-day streaks. A module awards its bonus only once every card in it has been studied, so you cannot skim to completion. Streaks advance on the first card graded each day, not on signing in.

Nothing to install, no account. Progress is stored in your own browser. There is no sign-up, no server holding your data, and no cost to start.

  • Trainees who need the vocabulary and the methodology before they can read the literature critically
  • Laboratory leads assessing vendor claims, validation plans and regulatory status
  • Researchers moving into computational pathology from a diagnostic background
Certificates from this course state completion, not professional certification, and the course is not a licence to practise or to deploy any clinical tool. Validate any algorithm against your own laboratory's quality system and current regulatory position.
